The producers of this material are
David and
Evelyn Jones and Margaret Ronald. David and Evelyn have been
missionaries in Chile, South America since 1959. Before that, they were
active in Sunday School work in the
Vancouver, B.C., Canada area. In the
late 1960's Miss Margaret Ronald came from Portage La Prairie, Manitoba,
Canada, and joined the Jones' in the
San Felipe, Chile
area.
David Jones produces a daily radio program,
Palabras de Vida, broadcast
throughout Chile on a number of radio stations. Read about his
conversion and
call.
Part of their Gospel activities include teaching Scripture to children and
young people. They use flannel graph and other aids to make the Bible stories
interesting, understandable and applicable to students. Fellow-missionaries
William and Doris McBride had prepared lessons in Spanish for use by
teachers in the early 60's. David began preparing flannel graph sets for each
lesson, and wrote guidelines for the use of the figures. These guidelines
are now found in the San Felipe Collection. Over the years the lessons have
been revised and expanded. Now through the convenience of the internet you can access the result of their work.
Their prayer is that you would find these resources a valuable tool in
reaching the children and youth of today for Christ.
